Running on an upgraded and improved version of the Infinity Engine, Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition includes the original Baldur’s Gate adventure, the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion,.
Hi, thanks for the kind comments! We're still working on what we're announcing next for the Serpent expansion, as some system/mechanics will have crossover with Copper Dreams. We're prepping a new page for it on our website with some additional information on the new setting, art, and characters.
We're really excited to share more about that, the website should be up later this fall. Thanks for your patience, building the new systems and movement/combat mechanics for the Burning Candle ruleset has been taking up most of our time lately, though the expansion itself is already thoroughly mapped out, so once we begin generating more of the content we'll be releasing more information proper. It is definitely coming to Linux, as is Copper Dreams. I asked in the news item but received no response:I haven't bought the game yet because I don't like to play any game until its definitive version.I'm concerned that the initial announcement suggests to me significant engine changes. Will Fool's Banquet change the graphical presentation entirely? I love Darklands and Serpent's visuals really appeal to me.
Is Fool's Banquet going to bring the game 'up to par' with typical cookie-cutter Unity engine games graphically? That would be a downgrade for me and I'll likely cut Serpent from my wishlist entirely. What can I expect? Is this game going from unique to typical with Fool's Banquet?
